The International Mothers Day Seminar will bring together participants and mothers from across the globe irrespective of race, profession, status or background to brainstorm on the plight of women with experiences from different countries as a way to build a movement for the improvement of conditions for mothers.

The theme of the International Mothers Day Seminar is “Mothers: Attaining the SDG goals, improving conditions for a World fit for Mothers” with a focus on Finland´s success stories.

The seminar will bring together scholars, professionals and women leaders of thought to contribute to the discourse on improving living condition for mothers drawing largely from the Finnish Perspectives.
